Evidence based nutrition is where it’s at!

Just discovered this podcast through @foodsciencebabe on Instagram and after one episode I’m already hooked! Educating the general public about nutrition science is more vital than ever as misinformation spreads rapidly on social media. Alix presents comprehensive and accessible information & I can’t wait to listen and learn more.

Jess's liberal artzz friend ,

Thanks from a fellow RD stuck in the messy middle

Alix,

As a (relatively new) fellow dietitian with a nutrition philosophy that falls somewhere in the grey area or the “messy middle” I often get overwhelmed being in this space due to the extremes on both sides: the clean eating dietary zealots on the one hand and the “no intentional weight loss” intuitive eating community at the other extreme. I wanted to say thank you: for your evidence based podcasts that sheds light on the benefits of keeping an open mind when it comes to nutrition. You do a great job exposing the pitfalls of any one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition by including the experience and knowledge of a wide range of experts who work from all different angles in the nutrition sphere.

I was trying to decide to continue with Optavia or not. This podcast assisted me in the decision to not continue with Optavia. Thank you all so much :)

Kindly,

Susan
