Thank you for creating this safe space

This is a wonderful, compassionate podcast for those who may feel alone and unacknowledged due to their intellectual disability or struggles.

People who have intellectual disabilities have worth, they do deserve a place in this world.

Sadly, our society attributes intellectual giftedness with morality but that’s not right.

Learning about the questionable origin of iq tests has only strengthened how I feel about uplifting, including, affirming and centering people with intellectual disabilities.

It’s only been a few years since I accepted my own intellectual disability and cognitive limitations I experience while having adhd.

A podcast like this could really help someone see that they are intrinsically important in this world, not someone to be thrown away, ignored or only seen as valuable if they contribute to society in a way deemed acceptable by the majority.

That’s why educating the community about intellectual ableism while working to dismantle academic ableism is one of my greatest ambitions.

I commend the creator of this podcast for what they do.
