    Dave Sanderson was the last man off of US Airways Flight 1549 when it landed in the Hudson River in NYC in 2009. He dove into he icy cold water that day and almost died as his body succumbed to hypothermia...only to be scooped out of the river by 2 of NYC Firefighters.

    Now, 15 years later, Dave shares with Awakened Nation his return to swimming the same spot in the Hudson River with a group of Navy Seals, and the memories it stirred up.

    Dave explains something that no one could have warned him about and that was Post Traumatic Growth Syndrome... something Dave talks about in his TEDTalk... instead of getting depressed and withdrawn, he had the opposite happened.

    This is a powerful episode as Dave returns to Awakened Nation.

The episode with Damon Lembi is a must-listen for anyone interested in personal development, sports, or leadership. Brad Szollose's skillful interviewing brings out the best in his guest, making complex themes relatable and inspiring. This particular interview features Damon Lembi, a former baseball player turned learning and development expert who shares his journey on how sports discipline and teamwork translates into corporate training and personal development. This episode is great for everyone - it’s an easy listen even if you have never played a sport in your life. It is relatable, intriguing and their discussion on personal stories make for a truly authentic conversation. Highly recommend!
