HOLA HOLA HOLA and Welcome to ¡Ayuda! I Failed Spanish! This podcast is for all you guys who tanked Spanish class. It is dedicated to all the FUN elements of teaching Spanish. I am Jamison, your new virtual Spanish teacher! Join us as we try our darndest to teach Michael - MIGUEL - as much conversational Spanish as we can in one summer.

    ¡Ayuda! I think I failed Spanish! Meet the crew and hear how far Michael has to go in his fluency! Today Jamison explains to Michael how to introduce himself in a variety of settings. From the lesson to our very first juego de vocabulario we’ll keep it moving!

    02 - Asking Questions

    ¡Ayuda! I don’t know how to ask a question! Today Michael learns the basic structure for asking questions! Plus, will he guess all the words on our Juego de Vocabulario??

    ¡Ayuda! I don’t know how to address you! We’re back for week 2, and today is all about el tono. Join us as Michael figures out how to address anyone and everyone in his life! He’s been on a roll in our juego de vocabulario, but can he keep his 100% success rate streak going?

    04 - Subject Pronouns

    ¡Ayuda! There are so many pronouns! Today we’re cracking the code of who is who in Spanish while keeping it light with as few grammar and verb charts as possible! ...But sometimes you just gotta break it down.

    05 - Ser o No Ser

    ¡Ayuda! How does Shakespeare fit into Spanish? Today Jamison covers all the basics for describing yourself and others with the verb Ser. But that’s not all! Michael’s diving in to some gender/number agreement too!

  6. Episode 6

    06 - Tener

    ¡Ayuda! I have to learn to say “to have!” We’re wrapping up semana 3 with the classic tener. Will Michael be able to describe his age without saying something very different? Let’s see if Jamison can accomplish all that and give him a helpful hack for commands!

    07 - Necesit-AR

    ¡Ayuda! I need to learn how to conjugate verbs! In today’s lesson, we’re looking at expressing what you need and the structure of a basic -AR verb! Jamison gives Michael a quick crash course on verb conjugation patterns.

  8. Episode 8

    08 - Likes & Dislikes

    ¡Ayuda! I like pizza, but I can’t say it in Spanish! Never fear, Jamison introduces the concept of a ‘backwards verb’ to help share likes and dislikes! Join Michael as he begins to communicate more and more in Spanish!
