Tired of Christian pat answers about marriage? The podcast that goes in-depth into marriage, parenting, and even sex--to see how we can live the passionate life we were meant for. Paired with To Love, Honor and Vacuum--the blog!
Episode 114: Life Hacks to Help Know Which Christian Book are Toxic
Many of you have asked for a step by step guide to clarify how to gauge whether a book is harmful or helpful. So today, we thought we'd do just that, and help walk everyone through the process we use when critiquing Christian resources we see being used today.
We'd also like to thank our guest Neil Schori for joining us today with such a wonderful discussion on how to talk to pastors about the harm found in resources. We can't wait to have him back on the podcast again soon!

Episode 109: A Journey of Faith (Special BTS look at our 'Unfiltered Podcast!)
This week we're bringing you something different. This 'unfiltered podcast' that aired with our Patrons in July was an episode that we ended up feeling was worth being shared on a larger scale. We hope you enjoy this honest, vulnerable look into Rebecca and Joanna's faith thought processes, and that it may spark some discussion for yourself.
We will be back next Thursday with a 'Start Your Engines' podcast, for the last week of the month, as usual!
I wish I had the right words to convey how this podcast (and the book The Great Sex Rescue) have changed my life for the better. I deeply appreciate the research, humor, and faith of the people behind this work. Thank you!
Shiela and her daughters certainly come off as confident and strong women. I believe many women will naturally feel pumped up listening them and ready to confront the men in their life and fight for their ‘rights’. That isn’t to say that they aren’t on the right side of whatever issue/topic they are addressing, but they aren’t as right about everything as they think they are. My advice is pump the brakes a bit before confronting anyone and make sure you have removed the beam from your own eye first—after all, Shiela won’t be there to comfort you if things blow up in your face. As for me, my real issue listening to them is the ‘cancel culture’ mentality they represent and how (and how much time) they spend attacking everyone.
Speaks truth and clarity with confidence and wisdom!!
This podcast is like a deep breath of fresh air and freedom!!
