Ep6 - Feeling Tone (Vedana) - Unravelling Reactivity
Have you ever wondered why you can sometimes be so reactive or impulsive? In this episode we'll explore an aspect of the human experience that's so influential on our behaviour and wellbeing that the Buddha, himself, listed it as one of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. Feeling Tone. Understanding (and practicing) this is instrumental in creating the space we need to respond rather than react.

Ep5 - Don’t Know Mind
Could this be the KEY to less disappointment and frustration in your life?
How often do you feel agitated by things not working out the way to you want or expect?
Do you ever say, "It shouldn't be like this?"
Do you curse your luck when your perfectly planned parade gets well and truly rained on?
There's no getting away from the crappiness of circumstances working against your preferences, hopes and expectations.
But it IS possible to practice softening that blow AHEAD OF TIME.
Not by becoming cynical or expecting the worst.
But by staying open, interested and attentive to the flow of life AS IT'S UNFOLDING.
By swapping frustration for fascination, we can learn to harness an attitude of acceptance and flexibility, freeing us up to make the most of whatever transpires.

Ep4 - Acceptance With Awareness
Accepting the difficult moments of our lives is not always easy. It can feel hard and unnatural. In this episode I share two ways to mindfully approach acceptance, the second of which is particularly powerful.

Ep3 - How to Let Go
Developing the willingness and ability to ‘let go’ of unhelpful thoughts, judgements, feelings and emotions is central to the practice of mindfulness. But the concept of letting go is fraught with myth and misinterpretation. In this episode, I’ll share some useful distinctions for what mindfully letting go really means. Listen out for the subtle change of language you can experiment with to make letting go a more easeful process.

Ep.2 - Mindfulness & Compassions - The Perfect Match
Some things are made to go together. Batman & Robin. French & Saunders. Fish & Chips. Pineapple & Pizza...(debatable). But the most perfect pairing of them all? Mindfulness & Compassion.
In this episode, Paul unpacks why, in Buddhism, mindfulness and compassion are considered the 2 wings of a bird.
Listen out for the powerful question to ask yourself when life feels hard.

Ep 1 - Happiness is a healthy relationship with change
Why is our long-term happiness so dependant on the quality of our relationship with change? In this first episode, I'll unpack the ways that change is shaping our experience of every moment.
Oh, and listen out for the most profound truth bomb the Buddha ever gave (IMHO), which sits at the heart of it all.
