The Bloom and Grow podcast is hosted by Liz Fiedler. After the unexpected loss of her husband in 2020 and finding out she was pregnant the day after the funeral, Liz has learned to bloom and grow through her grief and is helping others do the same. A young widow who had to learn quickly that the weight of grief doesn't get any lighter, but she just get better at carrying it.
This podcast is for anyone who has gone something sad, hard, difficult, stressful..and for the friends and family of those that have. If you know better, you do better. We share insights and help you learn how to talk to someone that is grieving.
Time doesn’t heal, but intention does.
There are some monologues by Liz, but the majority are interviews with those that have grown through grief. This is neither a “woe as me” podcast or a “inspirational / you got through it” podcast… because we all know there isn’t a before & after of grief.
This is sharing the stories of people who have gone through some incredibly difficult situations – lost a spouse, lost a child, went through cancer treatment, lost a friend to suicide, got divorced, battled infertility… and chose to keep moving forward in life and grown through their grief.

Good resource for grief and the grieving

I went through a large loss in 2023. While not the same as Liz, I always appreciate her perspective and insights on grief. I listen to learn more about how she and others have experienced their grief. I appreciate having a space to go to where grief is talked about openly and honestly.
