Insightful Questions

Love this podcast! It’s refreshing to hear from real women about their health experiences, and the hosts ask such insightful questions that uncover the rich layers of the stories. Highly recommend!

Love the podcast

Thanks a lot for the great insightful discussions in a relaxed manner. Sorry for your daughter in law’s birthing experience. Sadly her case is not isolated and I can relate to her.

Not just for ladies

My wife introduced me to this podcast. Even though all of the podcast feature women of color, some of the themes that are woven through the episodes apply to all. My major takeaways are that first, everyone’s body is different. When your body is talking to you, listen….you are the only one that can hear. Second, you have to be an advocate for your health. Don’t be afraid to question your physician. If they do not welcome your questions, maybe it’s time for a new physician. I think by and large, the medical community is a community of servant oriented people who want to do the right thing, but they do make mistakes and this podcast enforces me to be more vigilant with my own health care provider s.
