Pragmatic, open-minded, & encouraging

I started listening to this podcast very recently as I have been wrestling with the notion of continuing to homeschool (covid homeschooler here) long term. Though I’m still uncertain of what to do, I have been so grateful for this podcast! I love their format and the pragmatic information and resources they provide. I need concrete steps that I can take now that will help me homeschool with less stress, and Rachel and Mindy offer exactly that! I also love their realistic outlook and their non-judgmental and open-minded advice and encouragement. I also love the concept of bookends and hearing from someone who has a lot of experience and someone who is newer, I feel as if I can relate so well and also have more to look forward to on this homeschooling journey for my family. Hearing their anecdotes and their enthusiasm and encouragement makes me think I can continue homeschooling with confidence and grace on myself. Thanks Rachel and Mindy!

Gold Mine of Information!

Mindy & Rachel are a dynamic team both bringing helpful perspectives and guidance. I appreciate both their “near” and “far” bookend experiences. I found them after COVID sent everyone home for virtual learning and I just needed a clue during that time to support our online school situation. Mindy & Rachel had several clues to share and I’ve stuck around because the information continues to apply as we transition back to class. My favorite discussions were the teaching to introvert/extrovert students, the public-speaking episode & the book recommendations!

Such a Blessing!

Fantastic resource for new and old homeschoolers alike. These ladies in their first season laid out the building blocks for homeschooling and then poured inspiration all around. If you like books, their choices are amazing. I wish I had more time!!!
