Food and Your Mood - with Dr. Uma Naidoo
We had the pleasure of sitting down (virtually) with our friend, Dr. Uma Naidoo to speak about her book, This Is Your Brain On Food, and explore ways to improve our patients' brain health outcomes by guiding them using evidence-based medicine and as importantly, through tasty and healthy foods for their minds. Dr. Uma Naidoo is a nutritional psychiatrist and serves as the director of nutritional & lifestyle psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. But more importantly, she is truly a compassionate physician and a public health advocate. We hope you enjoy the conversation as much as we did.

The Definitive Guide to Preventing Cognitive Decline
Friends, as many of you know, Alzheimer's prevention is personal to us. In our very first meeting, we connected over the shared loss of our grandparents to dementia and since then we have dedicated our lives to combating neurodegenerative diseases. This put us on-the-ground in communities around the nation. We saw family after family suffering from the tragedies of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and cognitive decline. This is when our life's purpose took shape, and it was to share this simple, but powerful, piece of information: cognitive decline is preventable and you already have most of the tools you need to do so.
That's why we are so excited that today we finally get to share our new book, The 30-Day Alzheimer’s Solution with you. This book was written with every intention of helping people. We want to make the science around lifestyle medicine and brain-health accessible and digestible to as many people as possible. The result? A guide to transforming your life in 30 days. We actively fight against that notion and want you to know: health starts with everyday habits, not hardcore protocols. The response has been incredible so far. Thanks to our collective efforts, we've seen the book rank as high as #15 on Amazon! All of the profits go towards the non-profit, Healthy Minds Initiative, whose aim is the improvement of brain health in communities through education, research and mobilization of resources.
