One of a kind !

Carolyn’s podcast opened my world to something I’ve been searching for since I started my psych & therapy degree. So many bells went off as she spoke , authentically and without gate keeping. I couldn’t believe a person like this exists in our field!!!!! every single one of her episodes offers new insight & ideas. Not only that, she RESPONDS when you message her & ask questions . I’m literally
obsessed with Brainspotting & her podcast encouraged me to try it out myself. I booked an appointment after listening to episode 1! Now I want to Brainspot everyone in my life ! 🤔 still very confused after 3 eposodes

But I'm going to keep moving forward because I'm trying to figure out what brain spotting is. I have seen a specialist in brain spotting for six sessions. Between the two of you it seems like it's some sort of secrete. Until it clicks for me, I’m left feeling frustrated.
It's apparent that alcohol has made an impact on you. Thankfully I don't drink at all because I'm a child of a alcoholics. There's a lot of different traumas that happen to people. I'm going to offer a few topic since there are so many other reasons for trauma that you could cover.
Chronic pain, serious medical issues, Rape, domestic abuse, kidnappings, death, suicide, stress at work, sexual harassment.

It appears your podcast may have ended in 2022, I hope that's not so because your voice is positive & I really want to learn.

Listened to Episodes 1-3

They mentioned eye position, painters tape, free/paid music, the importance of a quiet/uninterrupted space, and to “reach out” if you get stuck. But, I literally don’t know what I should be concentrating on, what effects to look out for in terms of effectiveness, and how to find a level/advance. Was really hopeful about this show, gave it 3 episodes in full. Will look for a show that will give clear instructions in order versus tips to optimize your self-practice if you ever figure out how to get there.
