Strom is a renowned American epidemiologist and academic leader, currently serving as the Chancellor of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences and Executive Vice President for Health Affairs at Rutgers University. He is recognized for his pioneering work in pharmacoepidemiology, which involves studying the uses and effects of drugs in large populations, and has significantly contributed to the development of this field. His expertise spans across clinical epidemiology, public health, and patient safety.
Dr. Strom has held leadership positions in numerous national health organizations and has been a key advisor to government agencies on drug safety and healthcare policy.
