Calm Parenting Podcast

I wish what was covered in this podcast was common knowledge when I was growing up. What were typical childhood issues in my house turned into yelling, screaming, arguing, an Adderall prescription, and in turn, fear and anxiety towards my parents and the educational system. Then and now I’ve thought, “There must be a better way,” and today I’m glad to know that there is! I’m nearly finished with a master’s in early childhood education. I look forward to sharing this podcast with others so that we as a society can bring out the best in ourselves and our innocent children.

This is incredible content! Kirk holds nothing back and really exposes the traps we fall into as parents. Whether it’s pleasing our parents at the expense of our own family, or confronting the root of many of these issues we have with our children is us. He addresses the importance of our own self-control. Once we get that in check, our children act out less and our family dynamics shift. Thank you for what you do!!!

Not being hyperbolic in saying that this podcast has changed my life and the happiness of my family. I was able to find better insight about my child and ways to deal with their differences.
