Celebrity memoirs aren’t like normal books—they’re fun! Join comedians Steven Phillips-Horst (@gossipbabies) & Lily Marotta (@lilyblueyez) as they rifle through the diaries of drug-addled starlets, oddly obsessive restaurateurs, brass-knuckled female realtors, and boring gay politicians’ even more boring gay husbands, finding fertile ground for searing cultural insights and juicy gossip. Diego “P-I-M-Poly” Rivera
Oh Diego, won’t you paint me like one of your communist laborers? This week we stretch the canvas of our mind and dig into extremely famous artist/activist/revolutionary Diego Rivera’s book, "My Art, My Life: An Autobiography." Bona Feeday
Love this podcast, super funny. I exclusively came here to say that the way Steven pronounced “bona fide” in the Jenny Slate episode was insane.
Thanks!
Five Stars
Love the show even when I’ve never heard of the celebrity! Steven and Lily somehow simultaneously drag and exalt everyone they talk about. Get excited whenever there’s a new episode.
Crossing a line
I have enjoyed this show. However the hosts have made several weird and off putting comments about children and sex. The final straw was the way they framed Diego Rivera having sex with an adult woman at 9 years of age. Honestly gross and I can’t justify listening anymore.
