On this episode of Catch Good Health® Radio, Actor and Army Veteran, Mark Valley, shares his experience as a Volunteer Covid-19 Contact Tracer for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.







Many of us know Mark through his 25-year acting career, which includes roles on Boston Legal, Keen Eddie, Human Target, Body of Proof, and yes- Days of Our Lives. Previous to his acting career, Mark attended West Point, served as an Army Officer during Operation Desert Storm, and was stationed in Germany during the fall of the Berlin Wall.







Mark previously volunteered with the Clinton Health Access Initiative, and is currently volunteering as a Contact Tracer for Los Angeles County. He shares the basics of contact tracing, why he was inspired to help, what you can expect if you are contacted, the kinds of information asked for, and why it’s so important you answer the call.







Additionally, Mark and Erica talk about a variety of other topics, including managing the holidays during the pandemic, pandemic hobbies, the White House tennis pavilion, Upstate NY geography, his experience growing up on the U.S./Canadian border, and Mark’s espionage and intelligence podcast- The Live Drop.
