Generic, unquestioning advice

At this point I have little patience for a podcast hosted by a medical professional who at no point even mentions the fact BMI is often criticized as an ineffective, fatphobic measurement.

The intention of the show seems pure but from a random sampling of episodes it really does feel like Teoli and his guests are very much dyed-in-the-wool professionals who daren't say anything that could even approach controversial or questioning of the medical industry's status quo.

It's not like he's going to go on Rogan and rant against The Fat Problem or anything but if you're podcast-savvy enough to be looking at the iTunes reviews of a colon health podcast take this as a sign you probably could just go listen to something like Maintenance Phase and 1. be more entertained and 2. get more actionable, usable information for how to interact with the world. Legitimately seeking medical advice from a podcast is a dangerous endeavor on the best of occasions.
