Ep5: Spit da Knowledge- End of Life Planning

Hey yawl! On Coloring Health Policy, we will talk about a range of topics, but sometimes I want to "spit" knowledge about health care policy ideas that a lot of people of color do not really know about or think about until it happens. My first episode on this is about end of life planning. Not last will in testament but living will information, having conversations about end of life care before end of life happens. Stay tuned!

Essential listening!

Current medical trainee. This is the perfect podcast to listen to on a commute or really whenever you have a down minute. High quality content and speakers discussing essential topics that we don’t get enough of in medical education.

A refreshing take on health policy

This podcasts discusses current issues affecting healthcare. However, instead of just highlighting problema in the system, it focuses on actions that can be taken to address these issues. As a young physician who received little to no formal education on health policy, it is refreshing to see other young healthcare professionals focused on making a difference, guiding their colleagues to take action and advocating for our patients and our communities.

With a hopeful and optimistic tone and an interesting and diverse group of guests, this podcast is a recommended listen for anyone interested in health policy!

A much needed perspective in the field of health policy

I’m a black woman who’s getting her PhD in health policy and I can honestly say, this is a perspective that I feel isn’t talked about as much as it should be. I’m so glad this podcast exists and I’m excited to see where it goes!
