The focus of our website and podcasts are: Provide information on how to avoid exposure to SARS-CoV-2, aka the novel coronavirus, What are well-known and not-so-well-known risks associated with severe symptoms or even dying from COVID-19, How can YOU measure and reverse your risks of COVID-19, particularly severe symptoms and What is the latest breaking news on all aspects of the virus and disease – from an objective scientific lens. We plan to bring you information on how to protect yourself and your family, not just during the current pandemic crisis, but also in the future as our highly connected world presents the risk of future threats to your health. The data is in, the good news, this disease is not as deadly as first projected. The bad news is its contagion which is forcing governments to curb group activities – the impact of which is severe economic and social disturbances. Stay with us as we endeavor to bring to you factual content.

Ep 27 Coronavirus CVE Cytokine Storm Kills You
Your immune system fights for you and protects you against infectious disease. Your immune response is measured through inflammation and associated markers. When you have a cold, your inflammatory markers elevate. The elevate more so if you have the flu. In COVID-19, patients who are profoundly ill or die, experience a tragically high increase in inflammation and we call that a “cytokine storm.” Please note that COVID-19 is NOT special. The markers that elevate in COVID-19 are the same that elevate in any infectious disease. However, in COVID-19, in instances of severe disease, the go up to levels that can cause significant collateral damage and may lead quickly to death from the disease. The main cause(s) of death in the coronavirus and the disease, COVID-19, is edema, necrosis of lung tissue, or hypoxia (lack of oxygen supplied by the blood). Everyone has some level of low-grade inflammation, the level of which may predict your vulnerability to severe COVID-19 symptoms. An available blood test can help you determine your predisposition to dying from the novel coronavirus infection.

Ep 26 Coronavirus Death Rates Substantially Lower Than Reported per Stanford Professor and Expert
Jay Bhattacharya is a professor of medicine at Stanford Medicine and a core faculty member at Stanford Health Policy. His March 24, 2020, commentary in the Wall Street Journal questions the premise that “coronavirus would kill millions without shelter-in-place orders and quarantines.” In the article he suggests that “there’s little evidence to confirm that premise—and projections of the death toll could plausibly be orders of magnitude too high.” Here he presents his thesis that COVID-19 is not as deadly as reported and discusses the severe financial and health consequences of over-reacting or over-reporting the severity of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

EP25 Coronavirus: Scientific Information on Zinc as an Antivral
Zinc disrupts the replication of certain virus as is scientifically proven to do so against SARA-CoV and by extension, to SARA-CoV-2 the virus that causes COVID-19. Listen to Dr. Roger Seheult explain a research paper that shows how Zinc inhibits viral replication. Also, watch Dr. Justin Marchegiani provide advice on Zinc supplements and appropriate Zinc dosage.

Ep. 24 Coronavirus - Lung or Blood Disease or Both - Information that Could Save Your Life
Michael Carter MD discusses If you are hospitalized for COVID-19 from the coronavirus, how you are treated will be a life or death matter. We are learning from Italian and Chinese researchers and doctors that COVID-19 may present with symptoms in 2 very different ways. They are called Type-L pneumonia for blood hypoxia-driven disease, and Type-H pneumonia for lung pneumonia-driven disease. The type you have should, but may not, dictate treatment. Currently, some medical professionals believe that treating the “hypoxia” syndrome of COVID-19 with a high-pressure ventilator is wrong and may do more harm than good. Known the differences between the 2 types of severe COVID-19 symptoms and make sure any hospital or ICU you go to, if you have the disease, also knows the difference and will apply different treatments based on symptoms. Most hospital ERs and ICUs will be using ventilators only so consider calling facilities near you to see if they also use high concentration of oxygen without high pressure, under appropriate circumstances.
