Death X Southwest: True Crime

☠️Death X Southwest is your one-stop shop for true crime, served with a side of real-life mayhem. We cover the gritty, the gory, and the downright bizarre cases that have haunted the Southwest, but it doesn't stop there. Beyond the murders and mysteries, you'll also get an unfiltered look into my life—where I share the highs, the lows, and all the absurdities in between. Whether I’m solo or joined by guest co-hosts, expect a raw, real, and refreshingly personal take on both crime and the craziness of everyday life. 🌵Come for the crime, stay for the connection, and—of course—enjoy the chaos. Death X Southwest is more than just a true crime podcast; it’s a family, a journey, and a little bit of everything else life throws at us.

I love listening because it is like meeting a new friend who is sharing a story with you. Keep doing what you love to do. 🙂
Tried & failed

Lost a listener - The rambling, lip smacking, tisking & talking about non relevant stuff - telling us your windows are open, dog may cry, yoga ball….. it’s too much…. But the nail in the coffin was trashing Tempe - you labeled a whole city as sketch based on a few square miles. That would be like me saying all of Tucson is bad based on a small section - I’m sure the part you live in is nice - So why would you label a whole city in one way - you have never done this before.
Not great

Tried listening to the Yogurt Shop murders and the beginning is so rambling and boring I couldn’t continue. Host goes on at length about unrelated topics.
Stop with the mouth noises
Feb 13
Getting through a sentence without the weird mouth noises and constant ‘ums’ would make it sooo much better. Maybe write your story out ahead of time and read it because it doesn’t seem like you do a very good job at focusing. Ten minutes in and I have no idea what’s happening because of all the distractions
Can’t get past the mouth noises/ smacking
Feb 9
This podcast covers many lesser known cases, which is nice if you’ve listened through all the bigger podcasts. It really has so much potential to be great. Unfortunately, the host is a poor story teller and gets lost in side thoughts way too often and then struggles to coherently pick the story back up. Even worse, she makes so many disgusting mouth noises/ lip smacks CONSTANTLY. It’s worse than listening to someone chew their food.
Great show

Smacking
12/09/2024
I’ve only heard two episodes (86 & 87) and it’s good, but the mouth sounds directly in my ears makes my skin crawl. It was hard to ignore, I usually don’t complain about things. Sorry.
Very human very demure

I used to get irritated with the rambling but then I started to find it very relatable. We are all just trying to get through the day to day struggle. Let’s root for each other. I just fast forward sometimes and I never listen to the bonus episodes 😋. I like how she covers cases I haven’t heard of before.
Great Show

Love the Show! I enjoy hearing a little bit about the city where the crime occurs. If for some reason I need to, I can fast forward. You find intriguing cases to cover. Keep up the great work.
The 1* reviews are just a Buncha babies

I understand yall wanna adjust to the listeners bit, honestly, your podcast is your podcast... Bad reviews is actually why I jumped into listening to yall. Their bad reviews told me that this isn't going to bog down my day and is as light hearted a one can get when talking about murders.. The only thing I would change is diffrenciate the bonus episode names, bonus vs look up episodes. Otherwise just keep being you, keeps it authentic
