Confused
This started out strong but about mid-series went into an VERY detailed, several episodes long, history of the devil and pagan rituals. It was a weird turn from the beginning of the series. I skipped through a few episodes to the last couple which got back to the original storyline.

Nearly every negative review says the same thing. Just leave the stars and save us another redundant and identical screed. These people miss the point—THERE IS NO EXPLANATION FOR THIS CRIME. Everyone who said “I’m waiting for the actual explanation!” Is not understanding the show. The kid had no mental illness, that anyone could verify or document, so either it was actually a possession or he had a complete psychotic break and thought he was possessed. You can’t ignore the satanic element—the satan literature possessed by the kid. It’s literally the most important element of the crime. It’s the only motive that makes even a little sense. People have killed “for satan,” that is an empirical fact. Why couldn’t this kid do it too?
What Did I just listen to?!
It started out promising. Then got pretty boring. Then went totally off the rails. I couldn’t even finish it. 😂
