Episode #227 - Intrusive Thoughts
Intrusive thoughts and emotions are a significant problem within mental and emotional illness. This is especially true for members of the Church of Jesus Christ and other Christians. Thoughts of death, sexuality and worthlessness are just a portion of what we battle as we attempt to manage a difficult illness. However, the Lord is infinitely merciful and kind to those who suffer.

Episode #226 - Returning From a Mission Early - Navigating Emotional And Mental Health
Returning home from a full-time LDS mission early is one of the more difficult trials one will face. Not only must you navigate a new life but you must do so with disappointed friends, family and peers all while battling a terribly controlling illness that highjacks your emotional and spiritual welfare.

Episode #225 - Love Me
We all wonder at times whether the Lord loves us. We wonder if our relationship is growing. Many times we desperately seek and hope to feel that love. I hope this message helps you to see just how loved you are.

Episode #224 - Unclean
As the lepers cried out during Christ's day so do others whose fate is similar to the lepers. Addiction affects more than the person who is suffering. It is a power of mind and body that needs the power of the Savior.

Episode #223 - Moving Mountains of Doubt
I hope that you enjoy this episode. It has always been one of my favorites and perhaps one of the more relevant ones to my life.

Episode #222 - Deep Desires - Infertility-Single Life-Divorce
For many members and individuals blessings such as marriage, children and a loving spouse have not yet materialized. It can be a deeply painful experience to have righteous desires left unfulfilled without answers. Trials of righteous desires can be perhaps the most painful in one's life. Finding peace and joy can be a difficult process fraught with doubt, unworthiness, and sleepless nights. I hope that this podcast can bring a small measure of peace.

Finally...a fellow traveler on a similar path.
Thank you for this podcast. It had brought hope and grab air back into my life. My first thought after listening to my first episode...finally, someone else on the same path really gets it! Thank you for helping me to keep traveling the covenant path and learning it doesn't have to be filled with guilt and doubt.
There’s a lot of meat here
I’ve been listening to Damon’s podcast off and on for a year maybe. I listen to most new episodes and have gone back to prior ones that sound appealing to my current life status. I’ve never met Damon, this podcast was simply a suggestion and I’ve listened to 3-4 dozen episodes now. My spouse struggles with these issues at a higher level than me and this podcast often fills the gaps in my understanding or provides appreciation for where my partner is coming from. Mental illness is not clear and easy. It requires help, assistance, increased understanding, etc. Damon does a great job! If I met him in person I’d spend 4-5 mins just listing off specific compliments for his work here.
The content here is free. I don’t recall him ever pitching a paid product, he seems to do this out of a true love for his fellow man that may be on a similar journey and he feels he can help and add understanding, and he does it very well!
This podcast has more than meets the eye and I think the author invests more time than we could appreciate, both in his written word and getting in the right headspace to offer insights on so many challenging topics. Definitely give 3-4 episodes a listen and do so while alone and allowing yourself time to think and ponder. And thank you Damon for sharing your gift and insights with me and others, so freely and purposefully. One day I may meet you and I’ll get a chance to thank you in person.
