    The Inner Work (Replay)

    The Inner Work (Replay)

Welcome back to another episode of "Do All of the Things."
As experts in nutrition science, we’re trained to be thinkers and doers. And that’s perfect when you’re in school, completing the internship, and/or landing your 1st job as an RD.

However, becoming an RD entrepreneur comes with a whole new subset of characteristics. Entrepreneurship is like getting a triple advanced degree in personal development, business development, and professional development. The journey isn’t for the faint-hearted, that’s for sure.

But as doers & thinkers, we tend to enter entrepreneurship thinking all we need is to learn the HOW. But that’s far from the truth of what it takes to succeed.

On this week’s episode of the Podcast, Christine talks about the importance of doing the inner work on yourself as a business owner, so that you show up in your business (and your life) as the best version of yourself.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE: Why you need the balance of feminine & masculine energies to build a business.
The importance of creating a strong self-concept to succeed as a business owner.
Why you shouldn't rely on your job to create happiness & fulfillment in your RD career.
How to think when things don't go as planned in your business.

Amazing podcast for RDs

RDs need this mindset podcast. I have been dabbling in entrepreneurship on the side trying to figure out what I want to do but I never would have even started without this podcast.

Such great advice!

Update Sep 2023: I’m so proud of Christine for pivoting and following her new missions and visits on. The information on her revamped podcast format hits just as deep as the previous one. Thank you, Christine, for not being afraid to change things up and allowing us to do the same.

It’s a sad fact that women don’t make as much money as men and may also seem apprehensive to ask for what they’re worth as opposed to their male counterparts who are a little more assertive. Throw into the mix that the dietetics professions doesn’t exactly pay top dollar and you’ve got the holy trinity of financial tragedy staring at you, which can seem overwhelming regardless if you’re a newbie or veteran in the field. Enter Christine to pull you up and out of the rut and empower you make the top dollars you deserve!

Thank you!

I started listening to this podcast 7 months ago when I had just started my own consulting business. I wasn’t feeling 100% confident in that decision or that I was worth what I was asking for. Listening to this podcast has helped me feel empowered and confident, so much so that I have even raised my hourly rate again AND feel worthy of it. Best part is, clients aren’t pushing back. We are worth it. It’s all about your mindset.
