This Is Not Your Practice Life

This Is Not Your Practice Life

Hey there, my friends! Welcome back for another Mindset Minute. Today, let's dive into something important—this isn't a practice life we're living. Nope, this is the real deal, and it's time to seize it with both hands. There are no rehearsals, no second takes; it's all happening right now.

It's time to shake off those excuses and dive headfirst into making things happen. Your life deserves the meaning and purpose you crave, so why wait? Embrace your full potential and watch how you amaze yourself and everyone around you. It's all about giving it your all, without holding back.

Remember, you're capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. This isn't practice; this is life in all its messy, beautiful glory. So, align yourself with your heart's purpose, radiate love and light, and share your unique gifts with the world. Now, ask yourself: what do you need to give yourself more credit for? Food for thought. Until next time, take care and keep shining!

So, here's a mantra to carry with you this week: "I am capable of everything I put my mind to. I achieve greatness by giving it my all. This is not my practice life. This is the real deal.  I show up with gusto and align myself with my heart's purpose. I am love and a reflection of light. I share all that is good."

Now, I invite you to reflect: What do you need to give yourself more credit for?

Wishing you a beautiful day and an abundance-filled week ahead!

    Embracing Imperfection

    Embracing Imperfection

Welcome back to another episode of "Do All of the Things."
In our journey of growth and self-discovery, one of the most profound lessons we can learn is to find beauty in our imperfections and to celebrate the messy, imperfect aspects of ourselves and our lives.

When I first started on this podcasting journey, it felt like stepping into uncharted territory. There was this pressure to be flawless, to deliver perfect content every time. But as I've embraced imperfection, I've come to realize that it's in those raw, unpolished moments that true connection and authenticity thrive. So, today, I'm excited to dive deep into the art of embracing imperfection and how it can transform our lives.

You see, our society often glorifies perfection, whether it's in our personal relationships, our careers, or our appearance. But the truth is, perfection is an illusion, a standard that none of us can truly attain. And yet, we strive for it relentlessly, fearing judgment and rejection if we fall short. But what if I told you that our imperfections are not flaws to be hidden but gifts to be celebrated?

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE: The Perfectionism Trap: Explore the impact of perfectionism on personal growth and well-being, and discover how embracing imperfection can lead to greater fulfillment.
Cultivating Self-Compassion: Learn practical strategies for cultivating self-compassion and navigating the challenges of imperfection with resilience and grace.
Shifting from Fear to Courage: Discover how to overcome the fear of imperfection and embrace courage in taking imperfect action towards your goals.
Practicing Gratitude and Resilience: Explore the transformative power of gratitude in shifting your mindset from focusing on flaws to appreciating the beauty of imperfection.
Taking Imperfect Action: Learn how to embrace imperfection as a catalyst for growth and progress, taking small steps and celebrating victories along the way.

    Your Work

    Your Work

Hey there, my friends! Welcome back for another Mindset Minute. Today, I want to dive into a topic that's central to our lives: our work. Your job isn't just a way to pay the bills; it's an integral part of your life plan, deeply intertwined with your unique set of skills, talents, and strengths. When you align your work with these core values, the rewards go beyond just financial gain – there's a profound spiritual fulfillment that comes from doing what you love.

But how do you identify what truly matters to you? It starts with introspection. Take a moment to reflect on what ignites your passion. Are you driven by a desire to help others, or do you thrive in leadership roles? Understanding your strengths is crucial here, and a fantastic tool for this is StrengthsFinder 2.0 by Tom Rath. By recognizing and embracing your strengths, you pave the way for a more purposeful and fulfilling career.

So, here's a mantra to carry with you this week: "I do what I love every day."

Now, I invite you to reflect: How can you find more passion for your current life? How can you find more passion for what you're doing right now?

Wishing you a beautiful day and an abundance-filled week ahead!

    Acknowledging Accomplishments

    Acknowledging Accomplishments

In today's episode, I’m sharing the importance of acknowledging accomplishments. This is a topic that emerged from a period of deep introspection and soul-searching in my own life. As someone who tends to focus on setting and achieving goals, I've often overlooked the importance of pausing to celebrate my wins along the way. This realization dawned on me during a recent phase of uncertainty and limbo in my personal and professional life, prompting me to slow down and reflect on the journey I've been on over the past decade.

Through this process of introspection, I compiled a comprehensive list of my accomplishments spanning the past 10 years. This journey has been both enlightening and humbling, as I've uncovered a myriad of personal and professional milestones that I had previously overlooked or dismissed. From forging meaningful connections with loved ones to achieving career milestones and pursuing personal passions, this exercise has provided valuable insights into my growth, identity, and aspirations.

As I reflect on this journey of self-discovery and recognition, I'm reminded of the power of gratitude and celebration in shaping our perspectives and fostering resilience. By taking the time to acknowledge our accomplishments, no matter how big or small, we not only honor our hard work and perseverance but also gain clarity and inspiration for the road ahead. Join me in this episode as we explore the impact of recognizing and celebrating our achievements, and learn practical strategies for incorporating gratitude and self-reflection into our daily lives.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE: The significance of slowing down and recognizing your achievements amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
How compiling a list of accomplishments can provide valuable insights into your personal and professional growth over time.
The importance of celebrating both big milestones and small victories, creating a sense of fulfillment and motivation for the future.
Strategies for incorporating gratitude and self-reflection into your daily routine, enhancing overall well-being and resilience.

    Living Your Values

    Living Your Values

Hey there, my friends! Welcome back for another Mindset Minute. Today, I want to dive into a topic that's close to my heart: living your values. Each of us possesses a unique power system—a set of core values that guide our decisions and actions. These core values are deeply ingrained within us, and shaped by our experiences, beliefs, and aspirations. And here's the beautiful thing: when we align our lives (and our careers) with our values, magic happens. We experience a profound sense of internal happiness, and God responds in kind, rewarding us with flourishing relationships, fulfilling careers, and a life that truly resonates with our soul's deepest desires.

To start living your values, I invite you to reconnect with your childhood—the purest essence of who you are. Reflect on the things that mattered most to you back then. Maybe it was helping others, expressing yourself creatively, or immersing yourself in physical activities like dance. Your childhood holds the key to uncovering your authentic self and rediscovering the values that have always been within you. By identifying and embracing these values, you pave the way for a happier, more meaningful approach to life.

So, here's a mantra to carry with you this week: "I am in love with my life. I live my values and show up with integrity in all my interactions. My values are a reflection of my soul's deepest desires."

Now, I invite you to reflect: What are your values?

Wishing you a beautiful day and an abundance-filled week ahead!

It’s a sad fact that women don’t make as much money as men and may also seem apprehensive to ask for what they’re worth as opposed to their male counterparts who are a little more assertive. Throw into the mix that the dietetics professions doesn’t exactly pay top dollar and you’ve got the holy trinity of financial tragedy staring at you, which can seem overwhelming regardless if you’re a newbie or veteran in the field. Enter Christine to pull you up and out of the rut and empower you make the top dollars you deserve!

Thank you!

I started listening to this podcast 7 months ago when I had just started my own consulting business. I wasn’t feeling 100% confident in that decision or that I was worth what I was asking for. Listening to this podcast has helped me feel empowered and confident, so much so that I have even raised my hourly rate again AND feel worthy of it. Best part is, clients aren’t pushing back. We are worth it. It’s all about your mindset.
