Cathy gives permission

Cathy is one of the contributors of the permission I needed to revive my singer/songwriting passion. I hid my dream and creativity away for many years not believing that I could achieve the enormous dreams that I had in my head; come to fruition. I was too afraid to be vulnerable. I always felt so exposed and not enough. That was my problem. I believed the terrible messages in my head. But Cathy was one of the first people to speak life back into my dream. She said, everyone should go for their dreams. If you’re not progressing, then you’re dying. And I was dying of sadness.

Let the guest talk, stop with the little girl commentary

I mostly like the content of the podcasts, but the constant uhms, and oohs, and interruptions from Kathy are annoying. Gushing too much to each guest about how "amazing" they are. Please just let them come and talk, without interjecting so much "oh my gosh, oh I can't imagine what you had to go through, oh, you're so courageous and amazing. STOP, just stop, It's not professional. Listen more, interject all your feeling less. Too much bleeding heart.

Inspiration Abounding

Review update: This podcast originally sparked me to make a change in my life when I found it in January. A lot of the guests and the older episodes were really great and what I needed to hear. Recently, Cathy seems to think she needs to coach literally everyone and is starting to get really preachy. She was more “vulnerable” and “authentic” before she started saying it out loud all the time. It seems like she might be buying into her own imposter syndrome as of late than she were even at the beginning of the podcast. Unsubscribed.

Original review: I so love this podcast! It is so inspiring and has really helped me to start thinking though what I really want from my life. I applied to medical school and was rejected and I’ve struggled to decide if that was even what I wanted from my life. I am still in the early stages, but I’m starting to dig my way through what I’m being called to do. Thanks for making this podcast!
