This guest and I have been connected for almost 2 years at this point. He and his company were clients of mine right after I started my business, and most recently came back again to work on different services. He’s motivated to continue growing his company, and I’m excited for today’s conversation.
My guest today is Luke Heintz. He Is the Owner & President of Modern Moving Company, a local moving company here in St. Louis, MO.
Luke Heintz, 22, is the President and Founder of Modern Moving Company in St. Louis, MO. He has a track record for being successful, and has built this company from the ground up. Throughout the history of Modern Moving Company, Luke has led all aspects of the business at one point. The company has continued to grow, and the team has expanded to help the business consistently reach new levels.
From the age of 16, Luke worked for a local moving company in St. Louis. After 4 years, in May of 2020, Luke started MMC.
Since the start of the company, they have seen tremendous growth and are gearing up to be the next big moving company in the country, with an emphasis in Franchising.

Today we have another great episode lined up for you. This guest and I have been connected virtually via LinkedIn. Our OG department at Hite did a great job as always in getting the two of us together. He and I had a brief call last month to learn more about each other, and discuss him coming on the podcast. I knew he had a great story, and I’m excited to learn more about him and his entrepreneurial story today on the episode.
My guest today is Justin Camper. Justin is the Owner at Justin Camper Law, LLC. The firm is dedicated to providing affordable high-quality legal services to business owners within the State of Indiana. Justin Camper is the lead attorney who is a small business attorney that focuses on making sure small businesses are legally protected and grow well.
He currently resides in Hammond, IN.
Justin Camper is a small business and trademark attorney, entrepreneur, public speaker, and writer. Justin, a Chicago native, graduated Leo High as valedictorian, Dean List at Purdue University Northwest, and later at Valparaiso Law School. Justin spent a year and half working as a Lake County Prosecutor in Indiana. After working for several areas of law, Justin shifted his legal career toward his real passion helping small business owners. Eventually, Justin started his own law firm, Justin Camper Law, LLC.
Justin Camper Law, LLC purpose is to help small business owners thrive with quality legal representation without dealing with complicated legal forms and misrepresented in Court. I have enjoyed watching him succeed from afar this year, and his accomplishments are incredible. He and I have a lot in common when it comes to values, personal development, and winning in life. I’m grateful to have people like this in my life, and I can’t wait for him to share his story today.
My guest today is Parker Ward. He is a Realtor at Ward & Ward Properties in Wilkesboro, NC and resides there with his family. Recently he also announced a new venture he’s involved in, which is Elihar Properties.
Parker Ward is building his life vision day by day by working tirelessly in both personal and professional areas. Parker started in real estate as an infant, raised in a Family business that thrived in his hometown, Ward and Ward properties. Quickly taking on leadership roles with this business, Parker worked to incorporate new technologies, strategies and visions for Ward and Ward by learning on his own and offering instruction to his team to encourage growth and evolution.
Expanding on the real estate passion, he is growing into his potential by teaming up with a like minded partner to create ELIHAR properties; a real estate investing company that aims to improve communities and beautify neighborhoods through renovation and increasing desirable living options for its residents.
As a family man with a 1 year-old son and fiancé, he is a living example of the potential one can reach when they have a clear vision of what their “why”, choose their support circle intentionally, grow in faith, and take steps towards their goals with pure belief and willingness

It’s been a pleasure watching his journey and transformation over this year. He is making massive changes in life that are impacting him both personally and professionally. I look up to this guy from a distance, and just super blessed to be in his circle.
My guest today is Les Brannen. Les is the Owner at Mountain High Mulch, and lives with his family in Marietta, GA.
Les Brannen is learning how to become the best version of himself by serving others. After losing his comfortable 20 year corporate career had to pivot at 45 and started a state of the art mulch blowing company. After years of grinding he’s becoming the CEO of his business and life and finding purpose serving others.
Ep #35: Stripe It Like It’s Hot w/ Cam Roberts
Today we have another great episode lined up for you. This guest and I have been connected on Facebook for probably 2 years at this point, but have gotten to interact more over the last year with TCC and WinRate Consulting. Back in May I had the pleasure of finally meeting him in person at our TCC Q2 event in Florida. I was also a guest on his podcast earlier this year, Stripe It Like It’s Hot. He is one of the nicest humans you will ever meet, and one of the funniest as well.
My guest today is Cam Roberts. He is the President at Laser Line Painting, which is a paving & asphalt service company in Prince George, BC up in Canada.
Cam Roberts is a business owner, a man of family and faith, and is an example of what can happen when you invest in yourself and surround yourself with the right people.
In 2018, he started a part-time line striping company out of the back of his Minivan - with no striping experience. After one part-time season, he quit his job and took the business full-time. In 2020, he started actively investing in his business education through a network of other successful contractors, and began applying what he learned.
As a result, Laser Line Painting, the company that is now based in Prince George, BC, Canada, has grown to over 7 figures by 2022. While he has had success with his company, his real passion is returning to others what he has learned from other business coaches and people on his journey.
As a result, he has started the only line striping-specific podcast and launched multiple virtual training academies for other business owners looking to grow and scale. His mission is to help other business owners in the asphalt industry learn how to grow and scale their businesses.
Ep #34: Helping Clients Win w/Joseph Hughes of Contractor Dynamics

This guest and I have been connected through a few different groups like TCC with WinRate Consulting and Apex, and have gotten the chance to get to know each other well this year. He’s a brilliant mind that has built a great brand and provides an essential service that empowers contractors to grow their own brand online. I’ve learned a lot from him watching from afar, and I’m excited for him to share some insights with you today.
My guest today is Joseph Hughes. He is the CEO of Contractor Dynamics, a marketing training company for the roofing & construction industry. He lives with his family in Jersey Shore, NJ.
Joseph’s purpose in life and in business is very simple: to equip people and companies with the tools to transform and grow.
He grew up in his family’s construction business, Hughes Marine Firms, in New York & New Jersey, as a 6th generation family member. He started working in the shipyard in Brooklyn NY at the age of 14 - waking up early, putting in long hours, learning many trades, and having the opportunity to work alongside hard-working people from all over the world and from all walks of life.
Upon graduating from Boston College with concentrations in Finance & Information Systems, Joseph earned a spot in the family business’ main office in Edison NJ, where, over the next 9 years, he learned a ton about nearly every aspect of running a construction and real estate business with multiple locations and divisions.
In 2013, he combined his construction background with his passion for business and marketing, and started his marketing training company Contractor Dynamics.
Most contracting companies don’t have a system for consistently and predictably building their brand and generating their own customers. Joseph and his awesome team at Contractor Dynamics train contracting companies on how to do their own marketing, so that they have more control over their growth and their future.
Today, they work with construction companies of all sizes throughout North America to help them leverage brand power and marketing to elevate to new levels. The Contractor Dynamics marketing training program is a blend of 1:1 training, small group implementation guidance, and business coaching from active contracting company owners.
Joseph also runs a leadership mastermind called The Impact Syndicate, to help others develop leadership and other skills to create a deeper impact in the lives of others.
To Joseph, business is fun and exciting every day. But what he enjoys most is loving and leading his family. He has been married to his beautiful wife Alyssa for 12 years, and they have a son Hunter and a daughter Serafina. The Hughes family resides at the Jersey Shore, where they enjoy being active in sports, surfing, traveling, and hosting friends and family at their home. Joseph is a marathoner and triathlete, works out every day, and is on a lifelong mission of personal and professional development.
A great process for new entrepreneurs in one Podcast
I love Adam’s design for his podcast. I have learned a lot listening to the interviews. Each episode seems to be a chapter of a book for entrepreneurs who are new to entrepreneurship- at least I felt it for myself. Tons of key words to success, true experiences from the guess and Adam’s intentions behind all the questions and the interviews are so helpful. Thank you for sharing!!
