The first three or four picks went as expected, as Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, and Marvin Harrison Jr went in that order. But, plenty of shockers took place after those. The Falcons selected Michael Penix Jr in the top-10 ahead of both JJ McCarthy and Bo Nix. Malik Nabers went to the Giants after the Chargers elected to take an offensive lineman in Joe Alt. Breaking news hit the college football world this morning when the NCAA restored former USC RB Reggie Bush's Heisman. In today's age of regulated NIL and the ability for collegiate athletes to make money while in school, it was only a matter of time for Bush to have his Heisman officially recognized once again. Now, the NCAA needs to do the right thing by Ohio State football. Head coach Jim Tressel and the Buckeye football program had to vacate their wins from the 2010 season after it came to light that five football players (known as the Tattoo 5) sold merchandise and autographs in exchange for free tattoo's after the team's Rose Bowl win. The scandal ultimately led to the firing of Tressel, and while many thought it was wrong at the time, it's even more imperative today to officially recognize those victories.

The biggest loss for the Ohio State football team in the spring window of the transfer poral was undoubtedly running back Dallan Hayden. The Buckeyes brought in a stud in Quinshon Judkins in the winter transfer window leaving Hayden as RB3 on the Ohio State depth chart for Ryan Day's offense. After the departure of RB coach Tony Alford to Michigan, it was all but certain that Hayden would leave Columbus, despite being in line to man the RB1 responsibilities in 2025. The biggest shock for many, is that Hayden elected to transfer to Colorado and play for the mighty Coach Prime in Deion Sanders. Is this a good fit for Hayden, or is he becoming part of a toxic culture in the "playing for clicks" saga surrounding the Buffaloes, who have seen many players leave the program this spring?
