Dr. Kate and Dr. Halie both are very passionate about all aspects of health: physical, nutritional, mental and environmental. Unfortunately, many of the products we are using on a daily basis have the potential to create negative or adverse health reactions including but not limited to: hormone disruption, reproductive toxicity, allergic reactions, and many are contaminated with carcinogens.
They both joined Beautycounter because of all of the transparency and high standards this company holds as well as the advocacy. Laws have not been updated in the beauty and cosmetic industry since the early 1900’s. Beautycounter is advocating on Capitol Hill, educating and trying to reform these laws in the hopes to get safer products in the hands of everyone.
