EP 30: Empowered Voices with Val - Early vs. Late T1D Diagnosis with the Needles and Spoons Ladies

There's never a "good time" to be diagnosed with type one diabetes and we know everyones experience is different. In today's episode, we talk about the key differences in being diagnosed as a child and as an adult.

Meet Rachael, the virtual assistant inside Needles and Spoons who was diagnosed with type one diabetes in 1994. Her and Val, diagnosed at age 23 discuss their experiences and despite how different they were, lead them to a very similar place in life.
