👉🏻 Our guest is Charlotte Krog, PT. Dip. MDT, Specialist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Master of Positive Psychology (MoPP). Charlotte graduated as a physiotherapist in 1994 and completed her Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (Dip. MDT) in 1997. She has been part of the Danish McKenzie Institute since 2001 and was acknowledged as a specialist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2005 by the Danish Physiotherapy Association. In 2007 she was appointed Faculty of the Danish McKenzie Institute. In 2015, she finished her master’s degree in Positive Psychology at Aarhus University in Denmark, where she bridged the biomedical with the humanistic paradigm and framework of understanding with the aim of ensuring a holistic approach – giving the patient a voice by using formative assessment of measuring pain, function, wellbeing, management and alliance in daily practice. She works as a specialist musculoskeletal clinical physiotherapist in private practice dealing with complex conditions, and has a special interest in long term/ persistent pain and malfunctioning. She has participated as a speaker in several national and international conferences; research projects; describing guidelines for the Danish Ministry of Health regarding cervical dischearniation, participating in designing a formal education in DK, becoming a professional mentor for health personal among a lot of other things.
