The Remnant with Jonah Goldberg
![The Remnant with Jonah Goldberg](/assets/artwork/1x1.gif)
In “The Remnant," Jonah Goldberg enlists a “Cannonball Run”-style cast of stars, has-beens, and never-weres to address the most pressing issues of the day. Is America doomed? Has liberalism failed? And will mankind ever invent something better than ‘90s-era “Simpsons?” Mixing political history, pop culture, rank punditry, and shameless book-plugging, Goldberg and guests will have the kinds of conversations we wish they featured on TV. And the nudity will (almost) always be tasteful. Brace your bingo cards.

Long time listener, never written a review before, for any podcast. The Kori Schake episode was FANTASTIC! Please have her back!
Fascinating, but missing a critical piece lof the picture
3 days ago
Fascinating eggheadery, but missing the bigger picture. Bill Galston is as fairminded a left of center voice as you can name, these days. The fact that 50 years ago, when the congress made a law called “the blah, blah, non- impoundment act”, the national debt stood at $2 trillion. After two generations of hand wringing from both parties about balancing the budget, the national debt is $36 trillion and growing by $2 trillion a year. If you ask me, we’re burning through borrowed cash and it’s got to stop!
What championships are transgender women winning?

Fine with the transgender ban in sports, but Lia Thomas last swam in 2022 I believe. You said trans women are winning everything - what championships have they won since? (Hint: none)
Excellent.

I love this show and listen to most episodes. Balanced and thoughtful. Jonah isn’t committed to one narrative but presents a contemplative approach to the biggest issues of the day. The philosophical approach is appreciated as well. Wouldn’t mind not hearing the weird orgasm intro.
