podcast listener review:

This podcast is the only one that I listen to, because I can’t seem to find one that compares. The camaraderie at the beginning has become so comfortable to listen to, and I love that like I’m listening to a conversation rather than a scripted agenda. And the religious discussions, are unbelievable. All of their guests have been insightful, and the fire that these people have for the LORD is truly inspirational and has led me closer to Christ. JP’s story in particular, and his constant referral to God’s grace is a fantastic demonstration of what life can look like for someone who is sold out on Jesus. These people leave no room to question the reality of God’s presence in our lives. Thank you Jesus for the courage and commitment of these fantastic people!
Keep it up!

Been listening for about a year now, and absolutely love the podcast. You guys have mastered the mix of being real, funny, and spiritually edifying. My only encouragement is to keep discussing the inward work of regeneration that is SOOO important for everyone to experience. A real relationship built with the Lord, His light shining in our hearts and conforming us into His image, and the long but rewarding process of sanctification He leads us on. The only limit to how much the Lord can sanctify us, is US.
There are plenty of weak Christians out there, and this is one of them.

Listened to the episode about “News” featuring the founder of the PourOver. Overwhelmed by the level of weak in this. And then when he said he’s an MSNBC guy…well there you go. A guy who’s “nonpartisan” but watches that. The whole episode was glorifying ignorance. Don’t watch “too much news” don’t follow policies or have strong opinions. Christians like this are the reason over 60 million babies have been killed. There are a ton of better people to listen to. Go find serious people, not this.
Question

Absolutely love the podcast, it was introduced to me by a friend a couple of years ago back in 2020 and it helped me climb out of a life of sin. I have learned a lot about modeling my life after Christ through listening to you guys. Now I am studying at seminary to become a pastor (Lord willing) and hopefully going to lead others in their walks with him, I also am engaged and we are thankful to have no regrets with our relationship and I believed honored God with it. I have a question, I have a friend who is dating and he is friends with a girl who is not his girlfriend and will occasionally text this friend. To what extent is that “wrong” or more accurately risky. Is it situational or universal how that type of dynamic should be handled? I remember a long while back you answered the question can you just be friends with the opposite sex and I was hoping this could bring some more clarity into if you can be friends with the opposite sex while in a relationship, and to what degree can you? I don’t know if my question will get seen or answered but I am super thankful for you guys, love y’all and God bless!
