"Dr Victoria Forsdick is a sport and exercise medicine doctor based at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, Australia. Before joining the AIS for 2021 she has worked within women’s sport for the past couple of years as a team doctor for a Women’s Australian Rules Football Club. Victoria is passionate about women’s sport, health and equality and is undertaking research at the AIS in this area. Her research - The Mum-Alete project - is looking at women returning to elite sport after having a baby and the facilitators and barriers that contribute to a successful or unsuccessful return."
