Amanda Cohen Takes on Carol Channing as the Borg Queen
It’s great staying friends with people through the years, and nobody’s seen this show grow as much as comedian Amanda Cohen. Amanda came into our lives through a Craigslist ad looking for people with big personalities to participate in a Pee Wee’s Playhouse style musical variety show.
Soon after meeting, we launched this podcast and Amanda’s been with us through the highs and lows of our 18 years in podcasting. She’s a rising star in LA’s comedy scene and she’s currently touring the Midwest.
Today comedian Amanda Cohen joins us to kick off our fall season to talk about the early years of podcasting and to look at the future of filmmaking and artificial intelligence. Will computers auto generate infinite reboots of our favorite shows with our favorite actors, like Carol Channing as the Borg Queen on Star Trek?

The Trials a Natural Bodybuilder - Aaron "Iron" Curtis
To form those legendary bodybuilder physiques, athletes have long relied on hard work, good food and lots of drugs.
But not everyone takes this path.
Created as a counter-movement to conventional bodybuilding, the category of natural bodybuilding places the focus on building muscle without performance-enhancing substances like anabolic steroids, growth hormone, insulin and SARMs.
But in their quest to celebrate muscle without chemistry, some contests ban anyone who’s had too many Frapuccinos.
Today Australian natural bodybuilder, father and coach Aaron Iron Curtis joins us to talk about getting banned from natural bodybuilding contests after testing positive for Jack3ed, a popular caffeinated pre-workout drink.
At the time of his ban Aaron was one of the front runners in natural bodybuilding and to this day he remains performance enhancing drug free.

Going on a Muscle Holliday - Scott Holliday
Pop culture artist Andy Warhol once predicted that in the near future, everyone would be famous for 15 minutes. But with the advent of social media and pay per view sites of an adult nature, muscular athletes can now be stars for a lot longer than 15 minutes. You get a whole month for $9.99 plus tax!
Let’s Grow Big Together- the podcast that’ll oil you up and rub you down down down.

Saxon for Mayor
Even though it does get pretty breezy here, Chicago got the nickname “The Windy City'' from its boisterous politicians who have a lot to say. Over the years, we’ve had many unusual folks run for political office, like the ACT-UP drag queen performance artist Joan Jett-Blakk who ran for Mayor of the Second City and then later tried to “Lick Bush'' in a run for the presidency.
Following that great tradition, Chicago performance artist and drag queen Jezebel À GoGo, now known as J Saxon joins us today to talk about their foray into the race to become Chicago’s next Mayor as a progressive who wants to abolish the police.
You may remember J Saxon whose first appearance ten years ago on this show “Why I became a drag queen” looked at the rising tide in favor of young people dressing up in drag to define and express themselves.

Dancing with the Stars - Rory Davis
San Francisco theater has had a long history of inviting everyone to shine onstage and shake their groove thing. Since the 1960’s, with performance troupes like the Cockettes, fabulous drag acts and male burlesque all incorporate anyone with a dream of being seen.
But when you have a lot of performers with stars in their eyes and two left feet, the show can grind to a halt if the choreography isn't accessible.
Today San Francisco choreographer to the stars Rory Davis joins us to talk about his work wrangling the top drag queens, movie stars and entertainers into fabulous shows.
From his Richard Simmons inspired dance classes, to coordinating some of Peaches Christ’s productions and getting the fellas to bare it all in BALONEY the popular male burlesque revue, Rory delivers the moves that make anyone shine bright like a diamond.

Should be called the Terrance McNally name drop show
Ok Fausto…we get it….you had a connection with Terrance McNally….now get to the content we all want to hear! This show keeps on keepin on….3000 episodes. Keep up the good work
Fausto..... + update
.....Update.... so now all they do is talk about muscles???......
At first I enjoyed this podcast but the more the I listened to it the more Fausto grates on my nerves. He's ill-informed, narrow minded, self aggrandized, is constantly accusing everyone with a cooking themed YouTube channel of ripping off (the horrendous) "Cooking with Drag Queens." Actually he likes to accuse anyone with a podcast of ripping them off. I have to listen sporadically. It's best when there's a guest to deflect their attention or else you're in for an hour long Fausto is so great and everyone copies him commercial. Not to mention that they tie everything back to drag queens....... My suggestion is to take everything this dude says with a grain of salt!
Growing up with a Feast
I have been a long time listener - back when there were live shows to connect with listeners - and feel like I have been able to come of age as a gay man (albeit later in life) with the help of Fausto and Marc. The duo has a wonderful banter with each other and with their guests. The guests that they showcase cover a range of topics that are important, irreverent, and informative. I highly encourage folk to listen in regularly!
