Parenting Master Class: Session 4: T1D & Proud (Owning Your Uniqueness)
Living with type 1 diabetes can present challenges, but it also opens doors to unique opportunities for your child to learn, grow, and shine in remarkable ways. Instead of seeing it as a burden, it's important to encourage your child to embrace it and take pride in it. Diabetes is a part of who they are, and it has played a role in shaping the person they are today, the individual they are becoming, and who they will be in the future. Dive in with me today to how exactly you and your child can embrace their diabetes 💙

Game on! Participating in sports and physical activities with Type 1 Diabetes
Children with Type 1 Diabetes can participate in sports and physical activities, just like any other child. It is actually a huge misconception that people living with Type 1 diabetes can’t play sports or should avoid physical activity altogether, but tell that to people like Jay Cutler, Max Domi, Luke Kunin, Lauren Cox, Charlotte Drury and countless other T1D athletes. Session 3 from our Parenting Master Class series. All straight from our Ultimate Parent’s Survival Guide coming out November 14th! Pre-order now!

BATMAN NEEDS YOU TO START TAKING YOUR DIABETES SERIOUSLY
Every now and then we need a punch in the face. Someone to pick us up from our collars and say "Start taking care of yourself". The "it's going to be okay" and "you got this" starts to just sound like background noise. Sometimes we need a wake-up call. Today I brought someone to do that for us. A tough love episode 💙 CHECK US OUT ON YOUTUBE FOR THE FULL EXPERIENCE

TOP 10 CELEBRITIES LIVING WITH DIABETES
A fun one. This isn’t about idolizing anyone (although I’m all for being fans of people and their work), but to show you that some of your favorite actors/actresses, athletes, performers etc also live with diabetes. Not only were a lot of these people on this list great at what they did, but they LEAD in their respective careers. I felt it was important to show you this to remind that diabetes doesn’t have to slow you down or stop you from accomplishing your goals, following your dreams & reaching your highest potential. These are some real life examples of that. Some controversy around #3 tho 😂 can’t wait to hear what you think. Don’t forget to rate & leave a review of the show! It would mean a lot 💙
