So fun!

Stumbled upon this podcast as I was looking for resources to teach my little kids Chinese or Taiwanese.. and now I’m listening to it myself just because it’s so much fun! This elementary version is fantastic for people like me who have grown up in the diaspora listening to Taiwanese but never formally learned it. I just hope these guys continue! I’m already not looking forward to the day I run out of episodes cuz it looks like there haven’t been any new ones recently :(

Incredible

The Elementary level podcast is exactly what the heritage speaker needs. It is simple enough to listen to, yet still fluent enough to keep it interesting. It increases exposure to normal Taiwanese grammar and vocabulary while showing you specific focus vocabulary and learning points.

There is an overwhelming number of young adults in the Taiwanese diaspora who are heritage speakers looking to learn their mother tongue, who understand a certain amount of vocabulary yet lack true verbal fluency. This is incredibly useful for this learning purpose.

Keep up the good work, you guys!
