SB Ep 42: My Ex-Vegan Story - Suffering in Silence
Some take on a plant based lifestyle for the animals, others, for the seemingly illustrious health benefits. But is “vegan diet” truly synonymous with “healthy diet”? Does it guarantee longevity and vitality?
In life we must remain humble, always open to new information. Though the vegan approach appears fruitful (get it?) in the beginning, long term results may vary. It’s necessary to be honest with ourselves in order to act when something is no longer in our best interest. Even when those actions or inactions will cause internal distress.
What does this all mean? Well folks…
One of the Soul BBQ hosts is no longer vegan. The health scares, psychological impact, and constant questioning of one’s own intuition are all on the table.

Kelsey & Steven have a great message to convey. It’s easy to jump in at any episode and know what’s going on. Whenever I feel like I’m rushing through life I put one of these on and kick back.
Being in the present is something I let slip so often. Kelsey really brings it back to center. All we have is now.
They are very compatible and fun to follow along with.

Listened to a bunch of them, and it’s been so helpful and uplifting to find people with such like-minded values. Both the hosts are such a light, and I’m grateful to have found this podcast. Would highly recommend to anyone who is open-minded and/or is on the path to spiritual awakening and self-love/self-healing!

I binged the first 3 episodes and the 2nd episode really started making me question my own habits and excuses I have told myself, it has provoked a sudden need for progression, I have a gratitude for their subject matter because of you listen and allow it to provoke you, it will be the best feeling you carry into the next day. Swear.
