Fun Pod
Though IM a Gen X kid, I really like this show. The hosts give me the giggles. Great take on things even when they get zany.
full of nostalgia and lols
As a 90s kid that hasn’t thought too into many of these topics since… I have been genuinely enjoying bingeing my childhood and remembering the good (and the bad). There are laugh out loud moments a that catch me off guard, and also very sentimental takes on things I probably would not have considered (but should have). It also makes me miss Oregon.
I’m a 90s nostalgia fanatic…
…but this felt low energy, even to me. Nobody seemed to have anything to contribute to the topics. It’s sort of like listening to students try to talk about a book they didn’t read for class. Lots of repetition. In the Frasier episode, it took 28 minutes to get to the actual content, and in that time, one host asked a (repeat) guest the same questions as last time, and then also asked two separate times “if anyone had anything to say before we get started.” Nobody pointed it out—they all just answered twice. 😬 It just isn’t thoughtfully edited.
