In The Bag System podcast, Melissa C. Water demonstrates that Dissociative Identity Disorder isn’t all a tragedy and that there can be a fondness for Headmates. This stigmatized condition has been viewed with an air of psychopathy, tragedy, or fascination. While alternate identities may sound like science fiction, perhaps, just like the skin we wear, the vulnerability for the mind to break is merely human and relatable. Though, Melissa prefers to see this, not as the mind breaking, but rather, as bending, with more of us now to help each other mend."I'm dissociating into a bag of Skittles; taste the rainbow."

They are as sweet bunch

Just wanted to say that Mellisa &Co seems like such warm and caring people/person. There’s such a sweet spirit and nature about them and I hope that they can heal and grow to appreciate themselves because as an outsider watching their channel and listening their podcast has been such a comfort for me a newly diagnosed system I’m also on that journey of accepting my parts and working through trauma. The kindness, humor, authenticity, bubbly and even upset portions of Melissa seem truly human and relatable. I hope you find acceptance and kindness as you are! Because you are truly incredible! ❤️‍🩹
