022: Reflections over Resolutions part 2: What are you tolerating

Join us for part 2 of our Reflections over Resolution discussion where we shared a few concepts. We talked about limiting beliefs and boundaries, and now we're adding the third concept; what are we tolerating? You may be more familiar with the idea of a business or customer service business talking about their "Pain Points."  This is the same idea - what relationship, ritual or stressor are we tolerating in our lives.  We share ways to reevaluate and reconsider what you are tolerating!

We have received so many requests to hear Marissa Polselli of Wordtree LLC interview again.  Join us as we discuss with Marissa how the opportunity to learn and grow came to in the midst of what she has come to describe burnout.  Marissa shares her wisdom about not waiting to be on the other side of burnout before beginning the practice of self-care.  We loved talking with her about her experiences and hope you enjoy it as well.

    E20: Reflections over Resolutions

    E20: Reflections over Resolutions

Since the New Year discussion about resolutions vs. intentions, we have been doing some reflection on all we have achieved and areas we would like to grow in 2020.  Needless to say, a few themes are apparent as to where we would like to focus our practice and change in the new year. We share two on the podcast today.  1) Limiting Beliefs and 2) Boundaries.

Self-care is important in all aspects of our lives: physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.   The thoughts around limiting beliefs and boundaries seem to affect all of them.

    018: Setting Intentions not Resolutions

    018: Setting Intentions not Resolutions

A New Year has begun!  Happy New Year to our wonderful audience.

Today, we share our thoughts and insights on setting intentions vs. resolutions. When we set our intentions there tends to be a reflective aspect to the practice. An intention can start anytime - not just on January 1.   While resolutions may be more of a firm structure, perhaps a punitive aspect to the action (Starting January 1st, I will join the gym, or I will eat better). We would like to hear your thoughts surrounding this and let us know if you have made any intentions this year!

Here is a helpful article you may enjoy as well!
