Flightless Bird

I recently found David on Netflix then hang on his every word when he was on armchair, and flightless bird on their with Monica, I don’t know what happened but David you were what I always searched for! I love you’ve kept going!

I write this a while back but apparently never hit submit. Unfortunately the lean to politics has continued and almost never with any balance. What used to be about “what makes America tick” has become more about what’s wrong with America and what the hosts wish it was. I miss what this show was. So much fun and interest…..until the hosts get political, and they are almost completely one sided. I don’t come here for politics. If you want to be political, represent both sides. Or not. Your choice. I’d rather not choose.

I have been a fan of David’s varied works for nearly a decade so I suppose it’s no surprise that Flightless Bird has taken its place in the list of my favorite podcasts. Flightless Bird is one of the few shows that handles a wide array of topics well and with the care they require, producing a compelling narrative that opens your eyes to the world around you. Thank you David and Rob for this podcast. It is a warm, welcoming space for learning, laughter, seriousness, and everything in between. I so appreciate the growth of this podcast as you’ve spread your wings and I only hope you continue this work for a long time. 🫶🏻

I believe David to be one of the best interviewers and story tellers out there. There are so many stories in Flightless Birds that give me all the feels. I can’t imagine being able to keep an open mind and a shut mouth like he does.
