    En: “I saw a shady figure go in here last night,” says Gustav.

    Sv: Vännerna stirrar på varandra.
    En: The friends look at each other.

    Sv: Kan detta vara en ledtråd?
    En: Could this be a clue?

    Sv: De öppnar dörren försiktigt och stiger in.
    En: They open the door cautiously and step inside.

    Sv: Det är mörkt och luktar gammalt.
    En: It is dark and smells old.

    Sv: Lars tar fram en ficklampa.
    En: Lars takes out a flashlight.

    Sv: De ser trappor som leder ner till en källare.
    En: They see stairs leading down to a basement.

    Sv: I källaren ser de något som glittrar i hörnet.
    En: In the basement, they see something shimmering in the corner.

    Sv: Det är farmors halsband!
    En: It’s grandmother’s necklace!

    Sv: Men bredvid det står en man.
    En: But next to it stands a man.

    Sv: Han tar halsbandet och försöker fly, men Emil är snabb.
    En: He grabs the necklace and tries to run, but Emil is fast.

    Sv: Han fångar mannen och tar tillbaka halsbandet.
    En: He catches the man and retrieves the necklace.
