Hey Sis, I was in search of a Podcast during my journey of healing. I typed in Black women scrolled and found Girl Just Heal. First I made sure you were consistent nii….LOL then I started from the bottom the very first episode.
Babbbbbyyyyy I’m telling you that this Podcast makes my mornings BEAUTIFUL!! I listen while getting ready for work. I have my prayer card dance aye, aye, aye I be on go! Thank you so much for being the vessel for God’s word/work during this season where I do not have the capacity to be nothing, but a mom and daughter. I’m working on her to become HER!!
Right on time…
I first want to thank you for creating a space for women to come and be vulnerable. 3 years ago I lost my husband after 21 years of marriage. Since then I have been searching and healing. I’ve made some mistakes and recently, I just sat down, well God sat me down. I’ve been trying to find out who I am without my husband, but I left God out. Trying to do this on my own is not working and I’m turning it over to God, but I didn’t know where to start. How do I do this, God? Your podcast was recommended to me a few months ago and today I listened to Bloom, I can’t remember the full title, but the message was to be still and Bloom exactly where you are. This message really hit. Just Wait!!!! Baby… this blessed my soul and had me doing the ugly cry in the gym.
