The Hey You Human Podcast - hosted by Katie Buemann - is a soft place to land. A place for you to come home to where you can tune in to real conversations, with real people, about that one thing, that unites us all. The human experience. We riff on things like acceptance, connection, simplicity, nature, consciousness, frequency, change, intuition, mental and emotional health, somatic healing, and all the things woven into the alchemy of being a human. Especially if you’re of the sensitive variety. Because it is in sharing our humanness, in seeing and being seen, that we will all walk each other home.

    Creative Movement Forward

Annd we’re back after a two-episode break due to a sore throat and lingering cough. Something I did not want to put myself or you through as a listener. :) It’s no secret that we are in the midst of big changes. The energy feels different. We are waking up more and more to truths and untruths. We are remembering. All of which inherently brings a great deal of chaos. Our relationship to chaos, and ultimately our relationship to ourselves and our intuition, will greatly determine how we mo...

    Anxiety & Stagnation

In this episode, I explore the relationship between anxiety and stagnation, why it might be the case that so many of us are experiencing it, and what we can do to ease the tension of it, and create a little more flow and movement.Being anxious while also feeling stagnant, can be one of the most frustrating and crazy-making experiences. A salve for the soul

I found Katie’s Instagram & podcast during one of the darkest (and transformative) periods of my life, and her work has truly felt like a salve for the soul.

Her authenticity is palpable, which allows her words to penetrate and resonate on a deep, deep level. She articulates the human experience in such a way that it feels profound, thought-provoking, and obvious at the same time (much in the same was as an astute observational comic)—and she does so with a friendly, casual humility that never feels pedantic or “holier-than-though” (such a breath of fresh air in the wellness space!!).

Listening to her podcast truly feels like having a nurturing conversation with your wise best friend. Thank you for sharing yourself with the world, Katie 🤍✨

Long time listener

I have been following and listening to Katie Buemann since her Real Rebel days! Katie is always full of wisdom and insight. The way she expresses herself waxes poetic at times and I am always left with golden nuggets of magic to cling to. In a more and more complicated world, Katie’s words hold even more importance. She gives us hope, helps us to trust, encourages us to dream big and, as Katie says, soften into how life unfolds.

For the sake of us all seeking each other

I’ve tried to write this review several times and I don’t know if I’ll ever have the words to fully express my love for this podcast, and for Katie. So here goes…

You know when you have a conversation with someone and you are just in awe that you get to experience humanity alongside that person in this moment? Or when you read a really really good book or see a quote and you do a double take because you don’t know how words could match *exactly* what you’re saying in your head? When someone says exactly what you need to hear and your heart gets opened and then so gently closed and then… the biggest warm hug and you know everything is going to be okay?

That’s this podcast.

Katie, I can’t express in words how much peace I have felt since episode 1. I am always called to listen to your podcast. It feels sporadic, but I know it’s not. Every. Single. Time. I tune in, it’s exactly what I’ve needed to hear. It feels sporadic. But it’s not. It’s the magic of connection that your soul has sprinkled out into the universe, pulling those who need it in. It’s the type of peace that’s filled with so much relief and release that I can’t even cry.

Thank you for stepping out and for going against the current. Thank you for being scared and vulnerable and in your quiet, honest way, reassuring me that I’m exactly where I need to be. That all the pain and dark nights of the soul are leading me home.

Thank you for walking alongside of me and all of us. For holding the door open for us all to be seen.

Katie, you are so brave and so loved and I’m really proud of you. 💕
