Human Flourishing: Dr. Michael Berg The Well Mind Podcast

    • Health & Fitness

Welcome to the podcast! In this episode we venture back into the familiar theme of Vocation. This is a topic that has been featured on the Well Mind previously, but it’s one that is so relevant to our everyday life that we will likely continue to draw from this well repeatedly for deeper insights into ourselves and our relationships. My guest is a professor of apologetics, reverend, author, public speaker, and an all around interesting dude. I was first introduced to Dr. Berg through his recent book Vocation: The Setting for Human Flourishing, which we dive into in this conversation. I then heard him speak at a conference this past summer and got to chat with him there. He does some of his own podcasting too and was completely on board with coming on the Well Mind. Then of course the fall semester started and it took a while for us to reconnect, but we made it happen and I’m thrilled to share this conversation with you. We cover a lot of ground in our conversation-everything from what vocation is and why it’s important, to marriage, parenting, making sacrifices versus self-sacrificing, and how vocation truly is the setting for human flourishing..
