Dinner SOS by Bon Appétit
A last-minute party with no menu inspiration. A kitchen with no space. A toddler who will only eat buttered pasta. Name your dinner emergency—Bon Appétit is here to help. Dinner SOS is the podcast where we answer desperate home cooks' cries for help. In every episode, food director Chris Morocco and a rotating cast of cooking experts tackle a highly specific conundrum and present two solutions. The caller will pick one, cook through it, and let us know if we successfully helped rescue dinner. Call in with your own dinner emergencies—no problem is too big or too small! For the recipes featured in Dinner SOS and more, head to bonappetit.com or download the new Epicurious App in the iOS App Store. You can find episodes of our previous podcast, Food People, here.

Mostly great!!
Aug 31
Overall, a great food podcast. Reminds me of Good Eats sometimes in that I have total faith in the presenter (I really do appreciate Chris and would follow if he did any other podcasts) and usually learn a handful of things per episode - even if it’s through silly motifs or themes that for some reason stick in my head like oatmeal in the gut. But there are some definite food snob moments that are offputting and (with all shows aren’t just solo episodes) some guests make me slam that double speed button. A solidly earned four stars though, and it’s my most listened to food podcast.
Nice show

I enjoy the way the show addresses issues and makes people feel comfortable in the kitchen!
Deliciously Relatable

This podcast feels like being in a room full of food lovers who all want to help each other out! I love how casual and human the caller/host interactions are, and the before and after calls are as satisfying as the end of a home improvement show! My only critique is that a couple of the recipes have a paywall… even so, it’s my new favorite food podcast!
Do not fill out the survey
Sep 13
After completing the survey you are offered a chance to enter a drawing for up to $1000, but when you get to the end a screen saying “activity no longer available” pops up when attempting to enter said drawing. I just heard Chris promoting this survey and drawing on this week’s episode. I didn’t fill out the survey just for this purpose, I actually really like the show, but am super irritated on principle… Condé Nast in general seems to pull this scammy stuff all the time, weather it’s making it very difficult to cancel a subscription, or this.
