FIVE DOLLAR FLIP FLOPS by John Trentes

FIVE DOLLAR FLIP FLOPS by John Trentes

This is a rootsy rave-up that I wrote with my wonderful wife Erin Trentes and the late, great Barbara Dorris. We wanted to write a song that was empowering to women yet catchy and ear-wormy. I've performed it live at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe a number of times, and even got it in front of Darius Rucker, although it was a "no". I've been rejected by the best, folks. :) Hope you like it!!

Nikolas Papadopoulas Will Have Sex With You by Jefferson DeLeone

Nikolas Papadopoulas Will Have Sex With You by Jefferson DeLeone

Jefferson and Robby spin the Wheel of Easily Offended Demographics and write a song to offend Greek souvlaki chefs and sexually unattractive people. ALERT: This is a flagrantly Monty Python inspired piece.

Jean Claude Trans Am by Toby Danger

Jean Claude Trans Am is the first single of Toby Danger's upcoming EP that'll be chock full of hard-hitting rock songs with enough funny lyrics to make you say, "hmmm, I think these dudes are in a comedy band." And you'd be right!

What's Up, Spock (2024 Version) by Devo Spice

What's Up, Spock (2024 Version) by Devo Spice

When Luke Ski performed "What's Up, Spock?" at MarsCon 2022 he ended it by joking that he was going to add a new verse about Star Trek: Discovery, then said "No, I can't make that song any longer." Well, I can! So here is an updated version of "What's Up, Spock?" that includes verses for Discovery, Picard, Lower Decks, Prodigy, and Strange New Worlds.

This song will be included on a new album of cover songs that I've done over the years, which will include a few new ones such as "It's All About the Pentiums" by "Weird Al" Yankovic using a chiptunes version of the original music, and "Tortuga" by Alestorm featuring pirate rapper Captain Dan. The album will also include my covers of "New Math" by Tom Lehrer, "The Big Five-0" by Doodoo Wah, "The Laundromat of Sin" by Worm Quartet, a few live performances from the MarsCon Dementia Smackdown concerts, and more!

Cover Up will be available on Bandcamp on Friday, May 3rd.

    Lyrics: Luke Ski, Devo Spice
    Vocals: Devo Spice
Background vocals: Devo Spice, Shoebox, Insane Ian
    Music: Trevor Cochran

THE PERFECT SUCCESSOR TO DR.DEMENTO

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a decade and they come up with the best parodies and new comedy songs I have heard since my college daze being a wild and wacky Dementite!

The odds are good

But the goods are odd. Great content!

Gee, I wonder if they lean a little bit left....

They used to make fun of left and right but now it's TRUMP. They have lost their collective minds. I cringed when they took hits at sarah palin but they would occasionally take a swipe at Hillary. Now it's not even funny anymore. I won't support them further and they won't miss me because why should they. I am not their target audience.
