Everything is Perfect Just the Way It Is

This episode was prompted by an email that I received from a listener He wrote:My question is this: If there is no puppeteer, why do I see circumstances that line up in ways that there is no possibility that they are random? I see this on a regular basis and can give you instance after instance. I used to use this awareness to maintain my dualistic thinking. I believe flow happens in a different way now, but I wondered how you approached perceived providence. He goes on in this and a follow-up...

No Self, No God, No Problem

No Self, No God, No Problem

Recently I have been talking about how nonduality is integrated into and expressed in everyday life. In the past couple of episodes I have been addressing moral and political decisions, such as politics and war. Specifically I have talked about the Gaza war and dualistic American politics of right versus left, conservatives versus liberals, Republicans versus Democrats. The responses I have received indicate to me that I am not communicating very well that nonduality is not political pos...

Nonduality in an Age of Outrage

Nonduality in an Age of Outrage

We live in an age of outrage. Everyone is outraged about something or other. The most recent outrage is over the war in Gaza. Students on college campuses across our country and around the world are calling attention the unending killing going on in Gaza. That is causing outrage by counter protesters who support Israel and see the protesters as terrorist sympathizers and antisemites. Politics these days are no longer civil statesmanship. It is the politics of outrage with each side casti...

Christian Nonduality and the Biblical GodAddressing Religious Compatibility and ViolenceMarshall addressed concerns about the compatibility of non-duality with the Old Testament God's violent nature, specifically in light of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Marshall clarified that true Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are religions of peace, and the violence perpetuated in the name of these religions does not represent their true teachings.Divine Reality and Scripture InterpretationHe also...

    Pain and Nonduality

    Pain and Nonduality

I got an email from a man who is in constant chronic pain. He asked me to do an episode on the topic. I talked about the OT Book of Job and the Problem of Suffering a while back, but this man was talking about something less philosophical and more practical. How do we deal with pain, especially when that pain is intense and continuous?

Non dual awareness is the Tao of Christ

I'm grateful a friend connected me to Marshall Davis' YouTube channel and podcast in early 2022. In the evolution of my faith in recent years I was looking for better "right" answers. Certitude and the dualist nature of growing up in a fundamentalist cult, followed by years in evangelical churches, convinced me there WERE right answers and I had to find them....even as evangelicalism was showing the rotting of its roots across the movement in recent years.

I read, listened and watched a lot of good material but Marshall Davis speaks truth in a winsome way, with no NEED to please anyone, so I've grown to trust him. There aren't many writers and talkers in media who do that. I've read all his books on Kindle and am beginning to re-read them. Thanks, Marshall!

Wow! So thankful to Marshall!

I am so thankful to have found Marshalls podcast and his books on non duality and Christianity. My path was from zen, tibetan buddist, hatha yoga, advaita vedanta, non duality, Sufism back to christian mystics. I believe in one ultimate truth which is common to the real core of all these. So thankful to find more people sharing their experience and love. 🙏🙏🙏

Part the veil…

I’ve been listening to The Tao of Christ for a couple years now. I grew up with the teachings of Christ but never connected with the Christian church. After surviving a lot of tragedy and seeking a new way to live I found the practices of Yoga and Meditation. I began to learn about eastern teachings such as the Tao, the yoga sutras, and the Gita… these teachings reconnected me to the teachings of Jesus Christ and I began to see that God is bigger and greater than a single perspective. For the first time in my life I felt like I could feel the presence of God and an undeniable connection to all life. Marshall Davis does an amazing job cutting through the illusion of western religion and getting to the heart of what Jesus Christ was trying to tell us. We are all the children of God. Realize the kingdom of God is within us… heaven is here and now. Thank you Marshall for taking the time to share! Love, peace, and joy be with you!
