In this very interesting chat with Kim Fende, founder of The Mindfulness Academy.  We covered a couple of interesting and not often spoken about topics.  We discussed mindfulness and how it can be used to help heal emotional trauma.  Additionally Kim discussed her fascinating work with healing frequencies through the use of tuning forks and crystal singing bowls.  Lovely chat with a lovely lady.  I hope you enjoy!

Keep Calm and Carry On! Advice for thriving in turbulent times - Dr Joyce Knudsen

Keep Calm and Carry On! Advice for thriving in turbulent times - Dr Joyce Knudsen

This was another really pleasant chat with Dr Joyce Knudsen.  As we are living in some fairly unusual times I wanted to draw on Dr Joyce's 7 decades of experience.  To understand what tribulations she had seen and how we could apply these lessons to the current turbulent times we live in.
As patterns in society tend to be quite cyclical.  I think it's important to learn from the previous generations to better understand how we can navigate current challenges with more ease.  I hope you find the insights useful in your own life.
Please be aware we had some technical issues at the end of the show so it cuts off quite abruptly.

Change your brain chemistry and behaviour! - Dr Teralyn Sell

This conversation was with Dr Teralyn Sell who has been a brain health expert and psychotherapist for the last 20 years.  Dr Sell's method is very interesting as she has moved away from prescription drugs as an answer.  Instead, using diet and more natural methods to balance brain chemistry.  Enjoy the episode!

From tragic suicide to amazing social project - Duncan Mckean from BBC1's 'Money for Nothing'

From tragic suicide to amazing social project - Duncan Mckean from BBC1's 'Money for Nothing'

This was a lovely chat with the very personable Duncan McKean, who features on the BBC 1 show 'Money for Nothing'.  The focus of this chat was around his 'Don't Hold It In' project, which was sparked from the tragic suicide of his friend.
Suicide is the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.  We touched on this, Duncan's story and what people can do if they are struggling.  The key message is; the tools are out there and people are ready to listen.  Please don't hold it in.
