Dr. Gerald Drose - Psychologist, Author of "Bird Gotta Land"
In this episode I chat with Private Practice Psychologist and author, Dr. Gerald Drose. Dr. Drose is based in Atlanta, and runs a successful private practice with four locations and at least 30 therapists. We discuss what inspired him to write his fiction memoir, chat about various characters in the book, and dive deeper into contemporary issues in Clinical Psychology - such as how his practice has changed due to the pandemic. As a person who struggles with long form reading (we talk about that, too), I genuinely enjoyed reading his book.

Hey friends in this Wellness Wednesday episode we will focus on the 'long game' perspective, and the importance of developing active (exercise) habits that you do solo, and making it a priority no matter how busy life gets. Better to develop and keep good habits than to discard them and try to revive them later.
These weekly wellness episodes are brief episodes discussing ways that we can improve our personal wellbeing, with the hopes of influencing our society in a positive way. Think of this as a weekly mental health booster shot! #wellnesswednesday #mentalhealth
