The Power of Community for Your Marriage
This episode is brought to you by BetterHelp. Give online therapy a try at betterhelp.com/BLACKMARRIAGE and get on your way to being your best self.
In this episode, we will be discussing the power of community for your marriage. This is often a pillar we don't discuss because we are often taught the “us against the world mentality”. While we agree with guarding your marriage with vigor I believe it is essential that we learn to put our marriage into healthy community environments so that we can thrive. In this episode we will discuss what community is and isn’t, why community is important, and how to build a strong community for your marriage while guarding your marriage.

Customer Reviews
relevant and necessary!
I have been listening to this podcast and it's amazing how many open, honest, and vulnerable moments are shared. The information presented is easily digestible and applicable in real life situations. I want to make it clear that this podcast is not a replacement for therapy, but as someone who has experienced therapy and advocates for mental health, I appreciate the value this podcast adds. It makes it a little bit easier for me to navigate the world.
Grounded in Truth and Reflection
As I was looking for a podcast that could be helpful for someone after divorce this podcast has been an amazing resource. It has allowed me to examine my previous marriage with an objective lens. It has helped me to understand more about me and work on me as I prepare for my next relationship. My favorite episodes is when Christ-Lynn and Junior are on together. I am looking forward to the continued growth as you are sewing into the lives of so many. I have of course been sharing the pod!!
