Burnout was affecting my work, relationships, and health. I knew I had to change, but how? I felt like I didn't have time to breathe let alone add anything else to my day. I get it. Here is how I integrated wellbeing into my busy day to create the life I want.

Is blending in holding you back?
For years, I just wanted to blend in. It wasn't until a book asked me what brought me joy, that I looked at my life, and had NO IDEA. I had been a chameleon for so long, I didn't know who I was. I am starting slowly with tangible things. Is being a chameleon holding you back?
Interview with Dr. Tom Warren
Dr. Tom Warren is a general surgeon who moved into vascular surgery and then made a big change by transitioning into psychiatry. He is one of the founders of Warren Wellness MD, a MD and PA-run organization providing fun, family-friendly nature/outdoor-based CME retreats for medical professionals wanting to escape the daily grind. We are collaborating for the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants Wellness Workshop on October 8th and really enjoyed our conversation together discussing meditation, scarcity and abundance, and the growth that we have had by working on ourselves.

A simple thing that really helps
This simple change in mindset really helped me. It was so simple, but unless someone teaches you to redefine this, we just stay on the path of the cultural norm.

Refreshing and Real
Meg’s podcast is so refreshing because she is REAL about her struggles, but offers some very simple steps to work through stress and burnout. It’s not simply another podcast forcing mindfulness! Yet the more you listen the more you believe that mindfulness isn’t as hard as you think. As an ER Physician Assistant I found this so helpful. It’s my new morning commute podcast. Thanks Meg😎
